A l'école de cinéma CLCF les étudiants suivent des cours d'anglais pour acquérir le vocabulaire technique cinématographique et audiovisuel en scenario, production, tournage et post production.
En 2ème année, la pratique de l'anglais va plus loin puisque les étudiants doivent écrire et tourner un court-métrage en anglais.
« Cinema in English » in CLCF sets new standards in cinema learning in the English language in Paris, as well as in France, being the only cinema school integrating classes wholly and in principal in the English language. Within our proposed course for first and second year students, tutoring in English comes into effect not as a side trivial of the main course of the curriculum but as a dynamic and influential way of upholding the right of our students to internationality and freedom of choice. Lessons taught are “Cinema Esthetics” and “Film Terminology”, both entirely taught in the English language.
By shooting already from their second year in the school a film entirely prepared for in English, our students are baptized as the new screenwriters, assistant directors in the English language, building up their talent as it unfolds via their effort and knowledge, boosted by the language Hollywood knows very well!
Actuellement les étudiants sont en phase de préparation de leurs films.
Une quinzaine de films seront ainsi tournés dans l'école.
